For best results, arrive with clean, dry skin and hair about 1/4 inch long. Avoid heavy lotions, recent sun exposure, retinoids, or exfoliation within 24-48 hours. Inform your esthetician about medications or sensitivities so we can adjust technique and products.

Temporary redness or mild sensitivity is normal after waxing but usually subsides within a few hours to a day. Our estheticians use gentle techniques, antiseptic and calming aftercare to prevent damage. Persistent irritation should be reported for follow-up care.

Most clients enjoy smoothness for three to six weeks, depending on individual hair growth cycles and care. Regular waxing can weaken hair regrowth over time, leading to finer, sparser hair. Maintenance appointments every 4-6 weeks are recommended for continuous results.

Yes in many cases, but sensitive or acne-prone skin requires a cautious approach. We'll assess your skin, avoid active breakouts, use soothing products, and may suggest a patch test. For severe acne or skin conditions, waxing may be postponed or alternative hair removal recommended.

Avoid shaving between waxes; shaving removes hair at the surface and disrupts the regrowth cycle. If you prefer to remove stray hairs, use trimming only. Allow hair to reach appropriate length (about 1/4 inch) before your next waxing appointment for best results.

Gently cleanse the area, avoid hot showers, saunas, intense exercise, and sun exposure for 24-48 hours. Apply cooling aloe or recommended antiseptic lotions to reduce redness. Exfoliate lightly after 48-72 hours to prevent ingrown hairs and promote healthy regrowth.
