Get answers to common questions about Eyebrow.
Most Eyebrow waxing appointments take about 10–20 minutes, including consultation, mapping, waxing and brief aftercare. Exact time depends on hair density and shaping needs; first-time clients may take slightly longer for a custom design.
Properly performed waxing removes hair from the root and generally does not thin brows permanently. Repeated overplucking can reduce density; our estheticians focus on conservative removal and shape preservation to maintain fullness over time.
Sensation varies by person, but eyebrow waxing is brief. We use soothing techniques, precise application and calming aftercare to minimize discomfort. Avoid caffeine beforehand and communicate sensitivity so your esthetician can adjust technique.
Allow hair to grow about 1/4 inch so wax can grip. Avoid exfoliation, tanning or irritants 24–48 hours before your appointment. Arrive with clean, makeup-free brows to help your esthetician map and shape accurately.
Most clients return every three to six weeks depending on natural growth and desired maintenance. We recommend a consultation to establish a personalized schedule that keeps your shape consistent and reduces heavy reshaping.
Retinol and some chemical treatments increase skin sensitivity. We advise pausing retinoids at least seven days before waxing and consulting your dermatologist if needed. If unsure, request a patch test or alternative hair removal options.
